About Me

Hello! I’m Ellie, an intuitive Tarot reader based in England, United Kingdom.
I’ve always been fascinated by Tarot, but about 5 years ago that fascination became more intense and I began to study the Tarot more seriously.
Having taken several courses I’m now a Certified Tarot Reader and am dedicated to using my knowledge, skills and experience to help empower others and support them to overcome the blockages and challenges they face in their everyday lives.
I currently lead a slightly alternative lifestyle on a canal narrowboat – or “Tarotboat” as we affectionately call her! – cruising (or chugging) around the British waterways system. It’s a wonderfully relaxing way of life and provides a grounding in nature and alignment with the elements which enhances my intuition and benefits my Tarot reading. Although the pace of life is slow, our days are surprisingly busy and interesting. No two days are alike!
I haven’t always led such an itinerate existence and prior to moving on board lived for over 30 years in rural central England with my husband, which was where we brought up our two sons.
In my past professional life I worked in social care and support services, firstly as a practitioner empowering and supporting, amongst others, mothers and children, young people, older people and disabled people. More recently, I moved in to management and service development, becoming CEO of a high-profile not-for-profit company, where my main achievement was developing a profit-making trading arm which benefited the altruistic social care aims.
Making the change to move from our lovely house to boat life was a big leap, but my husband and I wanted an adventure – and it’s been fantastic!
Tarot played a big part in helping us make the decision to manifest the change, tapping in to my intuition and helping us create the life we wanted to lead, rather than let life happen to us, and encouraging our adventurous spirit, giving us the courage to make changes and make the most of the opportunities that presented themselves to us.
I hope to be able to do the same for you.
